Mori is a quaint little hamlet located on the banks of Tons River. Buses from Dehradun to Purola are easily available. To reach Mori one must change for a taxi or bus to reach Mori from Purola. Mori is situated 30kms from Purola. The other route to reach Mori is from Chakrata via Hanol

Visitors can witness scenic hilly terrains from Deoban as it is located at a height of 2200 mtrs to 3025 mts above sea level. Vyas Shikhar is highest peak in Devban and from there you may experience marvellous Himalayan views.

The Duryodhana Temple is located in Jakhol Village in the Tons Valley in Uttarkashi District. The temple is dedicated to the Kauravas and is believed to have been constructed by the local people of Saur Village.It is considered that the Tamas River was formed by the tears of the natives who cried at the defeat of the Kauravas. The river derives its name from a Hindi word 'Tamas', meaning sorrow. Places like Osla, Gangar and Datmircan have temples dedicated to Kauravas and Duryodhana.
