It houses a protected patch of small forest containing Deodar Trees. There is an entry fee of Rs 15 for Adults and Rs 10 for Children. Mussoorie Forest Department is running Eco-huts for the tourists come to enjoy serene landscapes of Dhanaulti.

Gabar Singh Memorial

Gabar Singh Memorial

Gabar Singh Memorial located in Chamba was built in the year 1925 to pay a tribute to the martyr Gabar Singh Negi. The brave soldier was the recipient of Victoria Cross and served as a rifleman in the famous Garhwal Rifles in 1913. During the First World War, Gabar Singh Negi along with his battalion won the battle at Flanders, which was held against Germany.

A modern town and headquarter of the Tehri-Garhwal district, New Tehri is an adventure tourism hub. Overlooking the massive Tehri Lake and dam, the well-planned town draws tourists, who come here for its natural beauty and the opportunity to enjoy innumerable water sports in the lake. The dam is the highest of its kind in India and is regarded among the world's largest hydroelectric projects. It stands on the Bhagirathi river.

The Surkanda peak lying at an altitude of 2,750 m. in the western part of tehsil Tehri, and is famous for the temple of Surkanda Devi. It is about 8 km. from Dhanolti on the motor road running from Mussoorie to Chamba and is connected with Narendra Nagar which is about 61 km. and with Tehri which is about 41 km. by motor roads.
